The financial literacy and entrepreneurship training workshop held on 20th February 2026 recorded a remarkable turnout of 127 members. The workshop, facilitated by professionals from the County Government and local banks, covered essential topics including budgeting, savings, business plan development, and accessing government funds.
Participants expressed their satisfaction with the training, with many requesting for more such sessions. The Treasurer, David Omondi, noted that the training will significantly improve financial management among members.
"We have seen how lack of financial knowledge can hinder progress. This training is the beginning of our journey towards financial empowerment," said the Publicity Secretary, Esther Nekesa.
Plans are underway to organize quarterly training sessions on various topics including agricultural best practices, digital marketing, and cooperative management.
